If your new to the game here is a run down of what the rarities are. The most plentiful form of card rarity in Dragon Ball Super Card Game, and have no foiling. Chances are youve seen loads of these cards if youve opened up a pack of Dragon Ball Super Cards. Common Foil – The Common Foil first appeared in set 3 Cross Worlds and continues to be released today in new sets and comes in 1 out of 3 Booster Packs in every set except set 01 and 02. Uncommon – The uncommon cards come 3 in every single booster pack. Uncommon Foil – Like the Common Foil it also appeared in booster packs from set 03 and continues to be released today in new sets. It has the same pull rate as the common foil. Rare – Every single pack of Dragon Ball Super Card Game has at least 1 Rare or Super Rare Card in it. The pull rate per Booster box are usually 16 to 18 Rares per box of 24 Packs. Since set 10 you can now get a Rare Non-Foil as it used to always come foil so Foil Rares have become more valuable. Super Rare – A Super Rare is a card that will replace your Rare in a pack and is one of the most desirable cards in a Booster box as they are more important to the game itself. You’ll usually receive 6 to 8 Super Rares per box. Special Rare (SPR) – This is an alternate art to one of the Super Rares in the set and is usually quite valuable as some come with signatures of the voice actors on them. Secret Rare (SCR) – This is the card everyone wants out of their Booster Box. It’s usually the most powerful card in the game and decks are built around these. ISR, FR, IAR, NHR, DR, GFR, DPR, DAR – All of these are sets of unique rares that come in different booster boxes and draft boxes of Dragon Ball Super. They replace the normal rare in your pack and you usually get 3 per Booster Box. Released alongside the various releases of pack series, including events, promotions, championship promos, special pack promos, tournament promos, power boosters, and more. Essentially, these cards are released depending on the specific event they accompany. Expansion (EX) – These cards come in Expansions to the game where you would normally recieve 3 non Foil and 1 Foil but they have done away with that for their Anniversary Sets on which you’ll recieve 2 packs of 5 cards that are foil and a complete set of 4 non-foil cards. So the chances of getting the Foil you want in your Anniversary Box’s are slim. If you have any questions or concerns – Please don’t hesitate to contact me!
